Recent work-out on Maggy's Farm!

Knocking snow off…a recent work-out on Maggy’s Farm!

It has been quite a hard winter on our growers, even for those with hoophouses!  And with the latest weather ‘fun’, many were knocking off snow and ice from greenhouse plastic…….who would be a grower eh?!  But we are open this Saturday, February 15th, rain or shine, on 8th St at Main, 10am-2pm…so pack your rain jacket, shopping bag and get out in the fresh air and take home something wonderful from the Market!

Crisp and juicy Kiyokawa apples.

Despite the weather we will still continue to see fresh produce and with the lengthening (and hopefully warmer) days approaching we will start to see different spring crops coming on soon.  For this Saturday’s Market (Feb. 15th) we will have from RJ Farms: Spinach, Chard, Kale, Carrots, Radish, Lettuce, Potatoes, Onions, Leeks..and Kiyokawa Orchard’s Pears and Apples, including juice apples….. …plus loads of fresh farm eggs.

Beautiful day at the last Market , we'll be there rain or shine this Saturday!
