Moving across Kaen Rd…just this week!
Our last ‘winter’ season market is this week, until next November. We are still opening at 10am, but next week we start at 9am. Thanks for all your support these past cold damp market days, we are sure looking forward to some warmth! The crops are starting to come on strong and the berries will soon be arriving. We are excited to introduce you to some awesome new vendors next week…stay tuned!
36 farmers and vendors tomorrow, more fresh spring flowers, more veggies, eggs (hens and ducks) and pastured meats. Wild Oregon Seafood was hoping to be there this week, but Robin called to say there is little to no fish available. When it warms up in the valley the winds out to sea are strong and few boats are going out. She is hoping to be back next week, we’ll keep you posted. Spice Pilgrim is back for the rest of the summer now, with their wonderful freshly ground spices and tea mixes.
Sawdusters is back with mason bee, bat and bird houses, 503 distilling with “cocktails in a can” and Maggy’s Farm will have a big selection of spring vegetable plants, and herbs, including the first Sungold Tomato plants! Ten Oaks Nursery will again have a nice selection of perennial plants in gallons and vegetable starts too.
It’s the last day for Cafe de Crepe, till later in the year and Sara’s Tamales will be there too. Music this week is by Manuel “Silky’ Mayer, there’s sure to be someone dancing this Saturday! Pick up a poster or flyer about the Summer Season at the Info Booth if you have somewhere you can post it, help us get the word out. Remember your shopping bags and we STILL have the cloth produce bags available (suggested donation $1). Ditch the plastic this summer!
Campfire Farms will be back next week for the summer season with pastured pork and duck! Check out their AWESOME farm video here: https://www.campfirefarms.com/. They are holding an open house this Saturday, April 27th, 2pm-4pm. Get up and close to the pigs. They are providing light snacks, corn hole, face painting …but best of all: Farm Tours! Call 503 908-4647 and let them know you are coming! You can message them through their Facebook page too.
