Well talk about a tough winter! After cancelling 2 regular markets and holding a small pop-up market on Dec 23rd,  we are SO VERY HAPPY to be back this Saturday, January 21st! It’s been really hard on the farmers and vendors to say the least, hoping you’ll find time to swing by, say Hi and add something local to your menu …..fill up those baskets and pack home goodies from the Market!

The New Year brings fresh changes for some of the vendors. Caldwell Farm, in the process of moving to new land, will have their eggs and pickles (even pickled eggs!), sauerkrauts, butters and jams and are going to be helping Randy Kiyokawa by selling his fruit for him. Believe it or not Randy is managing to drive a truck in from Parkdale for all his markets this weekend! You’ll find old favorites such as Honey Crisp, Crimson Crisp, Mountain Rose, the huge Hanners and many more varieties of both apples and pears (Taylor’s Gold is a personal fave and must-buy this Saturday).
Phlox and Figwort have changed the name of their farm to Brown Bottle Farm. They will have micro-greens, kale and cabbage, plus their incense goods and preserves.  They’ll also have a sign up for their summer CSA this week. Buy your membership and get $20 off plus a free farm tour this spring! www.brownbottlefarm.comEss Organic Skin Care is now called Landia Oreganics — same products, same people, just a new name! They will still have all your favorites : Lavender Shea Creme, Grapefruit Hand & Body Lotion, as well as luscious face care products (including everyone’s favorites: Rose Toner and Coco Rose Face Creme!).  Want to try out the creams and lotions? Their mini travel packs include all their products, make trying their products easy and make great gifts, too ($20 and $15 – super affordable!).
