Just 3 more Saturday Markets on “the hill”, 2051, Kaen Rd, off Beavercreek Rd , 9am-2pm……then  November 9th we open the Winter Market, on 8th St at Main, 10am-2pm!    Fall is in all it’s splendor at the Market right now….huge pumpkins, pears and apples, gourds and peppers, grapes and squash..and beautiful autumn flowers. 40 vendors this week, with tons of fresh produce, meats, seafood, cheeses, eggs, baked goods, hummus, salsa, preserves, pickles, ferments,cider, beers, wine, coffee beans, salumi, dog treats, flowers, plants..and don’t forget to bring your dull blades to be sharpened…only 3 more markets with Sir Sharp A Lot!

This Saturday the kids get to make their own APPLE CIDER by tossing apples into the big wooden apple press! They also get to turn the wheel and squeeze the juice out…we’ll take it and pasteurize it so you can drink it safely. Thanks to our great volunteers and farmers who donate the apples this annual market event will run all day and is something the kids just love to do!  Next Saturday we will be apple-tasting… grab a bite and choose your favorite! OSU Extension apple-preserving handouts will be available. Taste the kids cider…then Profarm will be selling their delicious apple cider this week for you to take home!

Live music Saturday is by the Algorithms…a brew of standards and originals, with guitar, mandolin and vocals. Hot food by Mitzil .Savory et Sweet back in the Winter Market…along with (new) Wood-Fired Pizza! Hot coffee and smoothies by the Fresh Start Cart..wine by Kings Raven Winery!

You can help too, by purchasing Halloween “Aliens” which our volunteer Bonnie and her sister Barb make all summer from recycled milk jugs and assorted plastic cast-offs, all proceeds benefit the POP Club!!

The market accepts cash, debit, EBT (SNAP) and P-EBT cards. WIC and Senior Farm Direct checks are accepted by all produce vendors and expire on Nov 30th each year. Stop by our information booth for information.
