What’s in Season at the Market?

By 30 January 2025

The market is open this Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Thank you to all who filled out our market survey last week! We truly appreciate you taking time to share your feedback, cooking habits and interest in meal planning resources. We received lots of data and look forward to sharing it with you in our next newsletter. We will also draw our two raffle winners so stay tuned!

The results of this survey will help our market focus on specific ways we can support our customers with meal planning inspiration, cooking with market ingredients and eliminating food waste while honoring time constraints due to busy schedules.

We have some returning favorites this weekend. Diana from Diana’s Delights is back from her January hiatus so if you’ve been missing her incredible jams, chutneys and marmalades, you’re in luck! Diana will also have her proper British Scones and Rugelach.

Wild Roots Farm and Storybook Farm are teaming up for the rest of their season by combining farm booths. You will find them in Storybook’s regular location so make sure to visit Nicki and Mary for wonderful Italian heirloom veggies, storage crops, greens and more. Don’t forget their epic herb salts, teas and
seasonings. If you follow us on social media, make sure to check out Storybook’s Farm favorite ways to enjoy Purple Top Turnips, an amazing winter veg staple.

February will be your last opportunity to purchase cookies from Drea’s Bad Ass Cookies at our market. They’re moving to Texas, but don’t fear. Drea is offering ways to satisfy your cookie cravings. First, she is accepting online orders until Feb 23rd. Second, Drea’s goal is to have an online order and shipping system in place by May or June 2025. You will want to make sure you follow her social channels for updates. Instagram is @dreasbadasscookieco
Thirdly, come this Saturday and start stocking up. You can freeze Drea’s cookies so keep that in mind, as well!

Mark your calendars! Our annual Seed Swap returns on March 15th this year. This event is always an inspiring time to trade garden seeds and new varietals. No seeds to swap? Not a problem. Come anyway and choose seeds of your own.

You can find us on the campus of Clackamas Community College’s GREEN LOT 1 here in Oregon City.
Parking is located in Green Lots 2, Brown Lot, S. Douglas Loop and Blue Lots.
Tri Met Bus Line 32 stops next to the market.

See you soon!

VENDOR HIGHLIGHT!

We are thrilled to have Foglia Pasta as one of our vendors at the market. Jeremy and his team handcraft artisanal raviolis, in addition to fresh sauces and pasta.

A small, family-owned business, Foglia focuses on sourcing local ingredients to provide dynamic varieties, including delicious plant-based options.

Expanding on broad flavor profiles and unique fillings, customers can choose ravioli flavors ranging from roasted vegetable to beef brisket. Seasonal flavors, fresh ingredients, inspiring combinations and eye-catching colors, there is nothing ‘fake’ in their pasta and sauces.

You can find Foglia each market day so make sure you stop by.
