Welcome Cherry Season

By 13 June 2024

Cherry season is here!

Not only are we excited to welcome back a favorite crop, but we’re also highlighting a gift guide for those celebrating Father’s Day. It’s a perfect opportunity to kick off the weekend with locally grown and sourced food, live music, brunch, coffee and vendors who have worked all week to bring their products to market.

We’re thrilled to welcome the return of Back Four Farm. Certified organic, Heidi farms right here in Oregon City and offers a wide range of veggies. Make sure to stop by and welcome them back for the season.

What’s in season this week? You can find loads of leafy greens, early summer squash, snap peas, onions, cauliflower, broccoli root veggies, fresh herbs, asparagus, cabbages, mushrooms, bok choy, veggie plant starts, garlic, scapes, strawberries, and more.

Give a cheer for the return of cherries! Chris from Fulton Farms has reported they will have Rainiers and Chelans this Saturday. RJ Farms plan to bring their delicious, sweet Reds that you won’t want to miss!

You can find us every Saturday from 9am-2pm in GREEN LOT 1 located at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City. We are off the corner of S Beavercreek Rd and Clairmont Drive next to the Horticulture Dept.

See you at the market!

If there is someone special you are honoring this weekend, look no further than the market for gifting and cooking inspiration.

Many of you know our market is now dog friendly, given our new location at Clackamas Community College. Did you know we have something special for your pups at the market?

John Stanford of PowWow4BowWow creates healthy dog treats. Containing minimal real ingredients, John sources those ingredients locally such as spent brewing grains (no contact with hops) from a local brewer, natural peanut butter, organic flour and eggs. He makes them in a commissary kitchen right here in Oregon City and pups love his treats!

Make sure to check out their seasonal dog biscuits as well. PowWow4BowWow is here EVERY OTHER WEEK at the market and will be here this Saturday, June 15th.
