The Market Kitchen is Open

By 30 May 2024

June at the market promises to be bountiful!

We’re already into our 5th market of summer season and it’s been exciting to watch our vendors return to the market with their seasonal crops and goods. The market is ‘growing’ given we’re heading into June and as we march towards the peak of summer, our vendor variety will continue to increase.

This Saturday we hope you will join us for some fun events! Chef Mia of Wild Spice will be offering a chef demo in our market kitchen booth at 10am using vendor’s seasonal produce.

We’re also welcoming our latest farm, Earthly Harvest! Located in Canby and recent organic farming graduates from CCC, Dave and Chris will be offering seasonal, organic produce each week. This is their first farmers market so let’s be sure and welcome them!

We also have some engaging POP Club activities for kiddos ages 5-12 which we will share below, plus a large number of vendors are making their return.

We want to let you know our Information Booth and POP Club booth are moving to the opposite end of the market to allow additional space for dining and walkability. We will have plenty of signs up to direct you. Find us next to S&K Nursery (flower basket vendor).

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding. As the market settles into its new location here at CCC, we are still working on finding the best methods to ensure ease for our customers.

Find us every Saturday from 9am-2pm at Clackamas Community College’s GREEN LOT 1 (off corner of S. Beavercreek Road and Clairmont Drive) here in Oregon City.

See you at the market!

This Saturday at 10am Chef Mia from WildSpice Gourmet Creations will be at the market showcasing her Cajun-Spiced Lions Mane Mushroom Steaks with Purple Asparagus. She will be using produce from both Mindful Mushrooms and Pheasant’s Eye Farm!

This will be a special event to enjoy at the market and we hope you will make plans to attend!

Join us for samples, shop for your ingredients and take home a recipe card to create your own.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
