Summer Market Is Here!

By 3 May 2023

Summer Market Season Has Officially Arrived!

It’s been a cold winter so you can imagine how excited we are to welcome a new season!

This Saturday we will begin opening 1 hour earlier, at 9am, for your shopping convenience. We have a wonderful line-up of vendors that will be attending throughout the season. Berries aren’t ripe yet, but you can expect to find more and more produce as weeks go on.

As a reminder, our market does not allow early sales unless it has been pre-arranged with a vendor for a special order. We do this so all of our customers have equal opportunity for selection and shopping. We appreciate our customers waiting for ‘opening bell’ at 9am to begin their purchases.

This week you will see lots of fresh spring produce, such as Asparagus, spring turnips, mixed lettuces and rhubarb, to name a few.

Our season will host 98 vendors! We are excited to support small farms and local businesses each week which also benefits our community and economy!  Again, not all of our vendors will be in attendance every week but as we’ve shared, you will find incredible selection and variety.

Our POP Club kids will be welcomed with the opportunity to sign up for summer passports and complete a spring vegetable activity. Kids can name the different spring produce varieties by locating them at our farm stalls. We will also be welcoming our favorite bubble lady to kick off the season with beautiful, oversized bubble creations for the kids to enjoy!

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!

Have questions about what to plan and where? How about soil amendment or what kind of tomatoes grow best in our region?

Look no further than the experts at OSU Extension Master Gardeners. Known for their planting expertise, the Master Gardener team will be in attendance every Saturday beginning May 6th. They’re eager to serve and possess a wealth of knowledge!

As Iron Sharpens Iron is back at the market this Saturday. We expect Bob to be very busy, but rest assured he will get your tools and knives in fine shape, in time for your summer plantings and cutlery needs.
In addition to welcoming new vendors, we’re also happy to welcome back some of our seasonal vendors this Saturday!
