VENDOR SPOTLIGHT – COTTAGE HILL DAIRY

A licensed grade A goat milk dairy, Cottage HIll Dairy is located right in Beavercreek. Brenda and Matt Johnson practice sustainable agriculture and consider their goats members of the family. Beginning with 4 Oberhasli does in 2016, the Cottage Hill family has grown to include 75 Oberhasli and Sable bucks and does. Not only are ALL their goats named, but they also come when called!

Cottage Hill’s farm management practices ensure their goats have constant access to fresh water, high quality feed, immediate vet care, access to pasture and freedom to express normal goat behavior. Their milk is gently pasteurized and then bottled or made into yogurt or Skyr (an Icelandic soft cheese similar to Greek yogurt).

Goat’s milk is known for easier digestion, less allergies and more nutrients such as probiotics and Cottage Hill has an impressive product line such as chocolate goat’s milk, kefir in flavors such as peach and strawberry.

Find them every Saturday next to Kiyokawa Family Orchards.
