By 2 June 2021

S-T-R-E-T-C-H Your Dollars At The Market This Saturday.

Now that strawberry season is in full swing, you might be thinking of all the amazing ways you can preserve this amazing fruit. In this week’s newsletter we have some ideas for stretching those dollars for our SNAP recipients and customers. Now is the time to buy in bulk in order to take advantage of this seasonal favorite.

We have 73 incredible vendors planning to attend this Saturday, June 5th. We also have two new vendors joining us that you will want to check out, plus some returning favorites from last season! Read on for all the details!

Coyote Ridge Farm is bursting at the seams with fresh produce so will be increasing to 2 booth spaces this week!

With the demand for fresh produce and fruit increasing we are happy to welcome Valley Berry Farm to the market this week. The Zarkoff family farms their land in Scotts Mills and uses sustainable growing practices. You can find 3 different varieties of strawberries this week. Plenty more berries coming as the season progresses.

In addition to strawberries you can count on asparagus, carrots, beets, leafy greens, mixed lettuces, bok choy, broccoli, radishes, turnips and even a bit of zucchini from our farms this week!

Welcome back Sao Noi, creators of Asian inspired Peanut Sauces and Chili Oils using family recipes!
Pilot House Distilling is here this week with some delicious spirits and Trail Distilling will have all the ingredients to make your own Gin and Tonics at home.

Squirrelly Jane’s Hazelnuts is back this Saturday! As a reminder, Mary Clair alternates weekends so stock up this weekend!

It’s going to be a beautiful 70 degrees at the market this week so plan on shopping for your local groceries from our growers and makers in the fresh air and sunshine.

You can find us every Saturday from 9-2 at 2051 Kaen Rd here in Oregon City!

See you at the market!
