Ring the Bells!

By 27 August 2026

Join us every Saturday from 9am-1pm!

School bells aren’t the only thing ringing, so are the BELL peppers. Here at the market, we’re rejoicing in the arrival of this much-anticipated crop. In addition to bell peppers, other pepper varieties such as Jimmy Nardellos, Sweet Reds, Padrons, Jalapenos, Poblanos, Italian Sweets, Habaneros and more are filling up farm booths in a dizzying array of color.

That’s the fun of shopping farmers markets, trying new varieties you wouldn’t otherwise see, thanks to the ingenuity and creativity of our farmers and their seed sourcing. Flavor profiles range from mild, sweet or spicy and the colors alone evoke a sense of inspiration! You can find plenty of choices at all of our vegetable farmer booths this Saturday.

We are excited to welcome Aaron of NK BBQ back this Saturday! If you haven’t tried Aaron’s BBQ, make plans to try it this Saturday. Aaron sources his ingredients straight from Campfire Farms, Lady Lane Dairy, Farrah Farms and more. We appreciate his support of fellow vendors and truly embracing what it means to cook with locally sourced ingredients. You can find NKBBQ down at the end of the market lot, next to our dining section and live music.

We have some fun and engaging activities scheduled this week so make sure to read the rest of our newsletter for all the details. We can’t wait to share another market week with our community.

Find us every Saturday from 9am-1pm on the Clackamas Community College campus here in Oregon City. Our market operates in GREEN LOT 1.

See you soon!

Dog-Friendly Fun at the Market This Saturday!

As you know, CCC is a dog‑friendly campus — which means our market is dog‑friendly too! This weekend we’re excited to welcome talented pet photographer Caitlin Hamilton, who will be hosting a pop‑up pet portrait booth at the market.

Caitlin will have a backdrop, professional lighting (as needed), and a whole collection of adorable accessories such as daisy chains, straw hats, bandanas, berets, and more to help your pet shine in their photo.

How it works:

  • Add your name to the sign‑up sheet when you arrive at the market
  • Appointments run in 10‑minute slots
  • If the list is caught up, sessions will run on a first‑come, first‑served basis
  • Cost is $25, which includes 1 digital photo emailed to you within a few days

Want a preview? Check out Caitlin’s Instagram to see her beautiful pet portraits. https://www.instagram.com/caitlinlovesphotos/

Bring your pup and join the fun! It’s going to be a great Saturday at the market!

We’re excited to welcome Oregon City High School’s Students for Social and Environmental Justice to the market this Saturday. This student-led club works to advance equity, sustainability, and community wellbeing through education, advocacy, and hands-on projects both on campus and throughout Oregon City. They’ll be at the market sharing information about their current initiatives and raising funds to support upcoming student-led environmental and social justice programs.

Stop by their booth to learn more and show your support.

It’s a POP Corn-a-Palooza!
This week our POP Club kids are celebrating all things corn! We will have our annual parts of the corn quiz (which is always be a bit trickier than kiddos realize) with free, fresh popped popcorn to enjoy after! Come by the booth and test your corn knowledge and enjoy a snack on us!
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:

Good news! Construction around the market is nearly complete. Asphalt paving for the new walking paths is scheduled for September 1 and 2, which means improved access for our ADA customers, multiple entry points into the market, and easier parking.

We’re excited to see this project wrapping up and truly appreciate your patience and support over the past couple of months.
