November brings a bounty of hearty and nourishing produce perfect for cozy meals and holiday tables.

Our market is bursting with fall flavors, new vendors and festive happenings. We have a well-rounded selection of vendors attending this Saturday that you don’t want to miss!

What’s in season at the market?

•     Root vegetables: Carrots, parsnips, potatoes, beets, turnips, and rutabagas — ideal for roasting or soups
•     Winter squash: Delicata, butternut, kabocha, and acorn — sweet, savory, and versatile
•     Brassicas: Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, and kale — packed with nutrients and flavor
•     Apples & pears: Crisp, juicy, and perfect for pies or snacking
•     Fresh herbs: Sage, rosemary, and thyme — your holiday cooking companions

Don’t forget to stock up on local honey, pasture-raised meats, and fresh-baked breads to round out your seasonal meals. It’s also a great time to consider placing holiday pre-orders.

Welcome Our New Vendors!

We’re thrilled to introduce a few new faces to the market:

Asian Inspired Lattes and More:
Ube, Pandan, Matcha, Chai Boba, Thai tea, Milk tea and Strawberry Sago beverages. Plus, May Chue will be offering Mango Sticky Rice and other delights. Her booth will be located near our hot food vendors at the north end of the market.

Liz will be offering a variety of fresh bagel flavors in addition to her own cream cheese offerings (such as herb, cinnamon sugar, jalapeno, blueberry, etc.), perfect for on the go snacking. Liz prides herself on sourcing local ingredients and does not use any preservatives. Izzy’s Bagels will be located near our hot food vendors.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Our annual Harvest Market is coming up on November 22nd from 10am-2pm. This is a great time to stock up on ingredients for harvest meals, enjoy live music and a festive atmosphere with delightful artisan goods perfect for the season. It’s our favorite market of the entire year!

Plus, we’ve included an update for our SNAP recipients and ways you can help so please read on for those details.

Find us each Saturday from 10am-2pm at Clackamas Community College here in Oregon City. We operate in GREEN LOT 1.

See you at the market!

The market is committed to stepping in to help fill funding gaps for our SNAP patrons. We will continue to offer our 20.00 in shopping tokens for EBT approved foods at the market, in addition to 20.00 of Double Up Food Bucks, even if your balance is zero.

We plan to offer this through the month of November OR when funding is fully restored, whichever comes first. If delays extend beyond that, we will evaluate and keep everyone updated.

If you’re looking for ways to assist our community, supporting local food access is a tangible way to literally put food on tables. Last week alone, in the pouring rain, we funded 179 SNAP families. Your donations helped to make that happen.

Might you consider joining us in feeding those who are experiencing food scarcity by making a tax-deductible donation? The need has become immense, and we want to be a resource to as many as possible. We also have the option of making a donation right at our information booth if you prefer using cash.
