Last Holiday Market Of 2020!

By 16 December 2020

December 19th marks our last market of 2020

I think we can all agree 2020 is a year to remember and we are ready to bid it farewell!

Come and celebrate our final market of 2020 with us. We will have lots of options for your shopping experience. Plenty of gift items, pantry goods, fresh veggies, pasture raised meat and more. Lady Lane Dairy will be here with fresh eggnog AND their latest line of ice creams! Freshly prepared meals made with all local ingredients will be available to take home to ease your meal prep. Sara’s Tamales will have frozen tamales available for take home, made with locally ground Three Sisters Nixtamal masa.

We have fun takeaway gift bags and a ornament making craft for the first 50 kiddos, compliments of Clackamas County 4-H. Stop by the info booth to pick one up.

Keep reading for our full list of attending vendors and all the special finds you will discover at the market this week!

From all of us at the market, THANK YOU for continuing to support us during this chaotic year. By choosing to purchase local and buying direct from farms and makers, you have contributed to the survival of our farms and businesses.

We wish you all a peaceful season filled with renewal and joy.

Kindly,
Jess
Market Manager

Double Jump Coffee is bringing back a fan favorite on Saturday. Freshly roasted, fair trade, Ethiopian coffee which boasts a flavor profile of chocolate covered blueberries. What a perfect complement to the holiday season. Double Jump also has gift cards available which makes a great stocking stuffer for the coffee lovers in your life.
Brown Bottle Farm is back with fresh veggies, provisions, holiday gifts and farm shares!

“Brown Bottle Farm will be releasing new pantry provisions and holiday gifts this week at market! Farm grown Turmeric and Ginger Vinegar, our customer favorite Smokey Hot Sauce, Firecider, and Seasoning salts. Dried goods like chilis, beans and corn, ferments and handmade wreaths collected and shaped from special plants on our farm.

Want something more unique? Consider gifting your loved one a Farm Share. The farm share program gives store credit and early access to our fresh produce every market week. Support our season early and get first choice when the crops are ready! Includes home delivery, drive thru pick up, and exclusive items available only to Farm Shareholders. Learn more at our website: www.brownbottlefarm.com/farmshareinfo

Also, a special thanks to You- our friends, customers, volunteers, market staff, and vendors for your commitment to the market. Our community has never been more resilient, and we feel so fortunate to be a part of it.”

Happy Holidays from Ryan and Anna!

We are happy to welcome Durant Olive Mill to our market family!

“Durant Olive Mill is a premier purveyor of estate-milled Extra Virgin Olive Oil and home to the only Olioteca in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 2008, Durant Olive Mill is home to 17 acres of olive trees and a state-of-the-art Italian mill. Our oils are an award-winning blend of carefully sourced olives from our own grove and outstanding growers in Northern California.”

Durant’s oils make a fantastic holiday gift. Make sure to keep a bottle for your own pantry, however. It’s an easy, flavorful complement to your meal.

Just in time for your holiday meals, Campfire Farms will have small hams available this Saturday, ranging in size from 2-4lbs. Plan on talking with Christina for their best serving tips!
Esotico Pasta is another new vendor joining our market. Barry makes all of his pastas from scratch using local ingredients. If you’re missing out on the fresh flavors of summer produce, Esotico has captured them in their amazing lineup of flavors, such as tomato basil and pesto parmesan. In addition, you can purchase a gift pack featuring their pasta and Durant’s oil and finishing salts.
SNAP recipients have one more opportunity to use Double Up Food Bucks before they expire on 1231/2020. Since this is our last market of the year make plans to attend so you can use them at your favorite produce and nut vendors! Don’t forget, mushrooms and veggie starts are included as well!
Stop by the info booth so we can run your card for your match.
