It’s Time to “Relish the Season”

By 9 July 2026

It’s time to relish the season!

July at the Oregon City Farmers Market feels like the season is hitting its stride with fresh mornings, overflowing berry flats, bright bouquets, and familiar faces gathering week after week. This month brings a whole lot of fresh produce to celebrate. We’re grateful to share another beautiful summer with you.

This week, our Field‑to‑Fork Market Kitchen will be sampling giardiniera pickled veggies featuring veggies from Sun Love Farm. It’s a bright, crunchy, Chicago‑style mix perfect for summer snacking and sandwiches.

Right alongside, the OSU Master Preservers will be hosting quick‑pickling tutorials, showing shoppers how easy it is to turn fresh produce into delicious refrigerator pickles at home. It’s a great way to learn new skills for summer preserving.

Speaking of pickles, Pam’s Pickled Products is scheduled to return July 18th! Time to stock up on all the favorites you’ve been missing.

Find us every Saturday (9am-1pm) in GREEN LOT 1 at Clackamas Community College here in Oregon City.

See you at the market!

Construction Update: Progress!

We’re getting closer! Thank you to all our shoppers for your continued patience during the ongoing construction at Clackamas Community College. We know the temporary detours and shifting pathways haven’t been ideal, and we’re grateful for your flexibility and good humor. Concrete for the new ADA ramp has been poured, and crews are in the process of laying down gravel as they prepare to pave new walking paths.

We appreciate you sticking with us, the improvements will make a meaningful difference, and we look forward to plenty of safe accessibility into the market very soon.

Tis the season to savor and preserve nature’s bounty! Whether you are a novice or veteran home canner, the golden rule is to seek out tested recipes and follow research-based recommendations to ensure the final product is safe to consume. Come by the OSU Extension Booth and speak with the Master Food Preserver volunteers who can answer your questions, recommend resources, and set you up for success!
Here’s What’s Going on at the POP Club on Saturday!
This week’s POP Club activity is our Mystery Box Produce Guess! Kids will get to feel inside a secret box filled with fresh market fruits or vegetables. Using their senses and a few clues, they’ll try to guess what produce is hiding inside. Once they make their guess, they’ll open the box to reveal the mystery items!
