Holiday Market This Saturday, December 5th

By 2 December 2020

Holiday Markets Are Here!

As we launch into December we are excited to bring you two opportunities to shop for the holidays. December 5th and the 19th from 10am-2pm!

Now is a great time to brighten your nutrition as we settle in for the cold wintry months. We still have plenty of farms bringing hardy greens like chicory and radicchio, lots of root veggies and winter squash, fresh herbs and flavorful leeks.

You can pre-order your hams and holiday meats from both Fisher Ridge and Campfire farms this week. Get your orders in early since supply can be limited if you wait too long.

Maggy’s Farm will be bringing fresh greenery and ready to hang holiday swags.

We know the season tends to get busy so consider pre-ordering or picking up some to go options like freshly baked quiche from Quiche Me If You Can or pre assembled meals from our new vendor, Owl and Anchor.

Small Baking Company is offering holiday cookies, take and bake cinnamon rolls and plenty more.. Plenty of pies too from The Pie Guy. All of our vendors use all local and seasonal ingredients from our farms!

Don’t forget our pre-order/drive up option via our @sourcewhatsgood app! We have lots of vendors offering online ordering which not only makes it convenient, it is a great option for those who prefer no contact during these stressful days of COVID.

Finally, you might have seen our gift guide that went out on Sunday evening. Be sure to check it out on our website or via our instagram (@oregoncityfarmersmarket) for all the beautiful gift options available. Please note our dates are December 5th and 19th (NOT the 20th – my typo)

We hope you will consider buying all local this season in support of our farms and small businesses!

I wish you a peaceful holiday season and look forward to seeing you at the market.

Westward Whiskey will be joining us this Saturday with their American Single Malt Whiskey.

“A celebration of Oregon’s legendary brewing culture, our Westward American Single Malt was inspired by longstanding casktrading traditions among a select group of beer producers in the Northwest. With notes of roasted grain and stone fruit, our cask finishing includes toasted pecan and milk chocolate that flawlessly accentuates the signature toast characteristics of this whiskey.”
