By 31 January 2019

    Sunlove Farm’s gorgeous winter greens.

Watching the Super Bowl this weekend? Pick up snacks and fixings at the Market to get you through the game. New vendor Thrive Sauce Co. has a recipe for Nachos you don’t want to miss: https://www.thrivesauceco.com/blog/nachocheesedip   The Hummus Stop will have all kinds of dips and salads, plus their pita chips, or bake chicken wings in the oven and coat with a healthy Thai peanut sauce using Bliss Nut Butters!  https://www.joyfulhealthyeats.com/baked-chicken-wings-with-thai-peanut-sauce/  2 Sisters Bakery and the Pie Guy are back this week as well as Mic’s Mix with their gluten-free baking mixes. Back too is Trail Distilling for your Super Bowl cocktail needs. Talk to them about their Valentine’s Mixology Class coming up on February 9th. Pick up a bottle of ‘English Style’ hard cider from Stone Circle and ask for a taste of Forest Edge Vineyards newly-released port!

Putting the ‘fun’ in Fungi…Brown Bottle Farm!

Fungi abound! Mindful Mushrooms will have a great selection and Brown Bottle Farm are bringing 3 kinds of Oyster Mushrooms (yellow blue and white) all extremely low in calories but contain a good chunk of protein, fiber, niacin and riboflavin. In addition ‘oysters’ also contain a small amount of magnesium, zinc and selenium. You can keep them refrigerated in a paper bag for up to 5 days. Oyster mushrooms are versatile, great cooked up by themselves or with chicken, fish or pork and of course pasta!    https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/247435/oyster-mushroom-pasta/

You might not catch these two cuties, but Fisher Ridge Farm will be there!

The Two Bit Brothers are playing music this Saturday (we loved them in the Fall!), the Cafe de Crepe Food Truck and Sara’s Tamales are serving up hot food and Double Jump Coffee has your hot drinks covered. Load up your shopping bags and join us for a ‘Super Bowl Shop’!
