Fresh for the Holidays

By 4 December 2025

Winter Market Magic

It’s a wonderful season to discover locally grown foods and one-of-a-kind artisan gifts at the market. While some assume fresh produce disappears in winter, the truth is that this time of year brings a bounty of nutrient-dense foods ready to nourish and delight. Now is the time to place your holiday meal pre-orders from our farms and bakers!

Our customers know the joy of stocking up! Shopping locally means your produce is harvested just a day before market. With healthy growing practices and minimal travel, winter veggies stay fresher, last longer, and pack more nutrition.

These are the days of slow roasting, braising, baking, simmering, and sautéing—comfort meals that warm us through the darker months. Elevate your dishes with fresh herbs, spice blends and herbed salts from vendors like Sun Love FarmFarrah Farms and Storybook Farm. Their made-from-scratch seasoning mixes and fresh herb bundles burst with flavor far beyond grocery store options. Pair your creations with hot mulled cider from Viola Orchards, soothing tea from Wiggle Way Farm or a cozy sip of Trail Distilling’s Irish Cream.

🌿 Thanks to Maggy’s Farm, fresh greenery is here to brighten your home. Festive swags, wreaths, and arrangements bring cheer to your winter décor—or make thoughtful gifts to share with loved ones.

🎁 Planning for gift giving? Explore the work of our talented artisans this week. You’ll find beautiful ceramics, cozy knitwear, candles, jewelry, and bath products—all handcrafted with care, using locally sourced and upcycled materials.

Find us on Saturday from 10am-2pm at Clackamas Community College’s GREEN LOT 1 here in Oregon City.

See you at the market!

Fresh greenery, wreaths and garlands are here from Maggy’s Farm this Saturday! Find them sharing a booth with Diana’s Delights.
Thanks to your generous donations…
The market distributed 65 bags of fresh produce and farm-direct dry goods to neighbors facing food insecurity last week. We are deeply grateful to our farms and vendors for providing nutrient-dense foods to households who needed support with a Thanksgiving meal.

A total of 450 local SNAP households felt your tangible support during November’s SNAP disruptions. Your response to this food access crisis has been invaluable. Unfortunately, the challenges are not over—SNAP cuts continue. Our market remains dedicated to preserving a space of local food access for everyone. As we anticipate future need, we are developing contingency plans to help SNAP recipients weather shortages caused by the latest restrictions.

Please consider making a one-time donation or becoming a monthly market sustainer. Every gift is 100% tax deductible and directly strengthens our community’s food access. Use the link to donate today Support Your Market – Oregon City Farmers Market

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Muller Industries
🌟 Hand-Crafted Vanilla Extract with Local Spirit

At the heart of our market, you’ll find vendors who embody the spirit of craft, care, and community. Muller’s Industries is one such gem. Known for their dedication to quality and innovation, they’ve turned a timeless kitchen staple—vanilla extract—into something extraordinary.

Each bottle of Muller’s vanilla extract is hand-crafted in small batches, ensuring rich flavor and unmatched depth. What sets it apart is the infusion process: Muller partners with local distilleries such as Trail Distilling, blending premium vanilla beans with carefully selected spirits. This collaboration not only enhances the extract’s complexity but also celebrates the artistry of Oregon’s distilling community.

By sourcing beans responsibly and working with nearby distilleries, Muller’s Industries creates a product that is both globally inspired and deeply rooted in local pride. The result is a vanilla extract that elevates everything from holiday baking to everyday cooking, carrying with it the story of collaboration and care.

Whether you’re whipping up cookies, custards, or your favorite comfort dish, Muller’s vanilla extract adds a touch of warmth and authenticity that only true craftsmanship can deliver. It’s a delightful gift option, as well!

Find them this Saturday at the market!
