Fall is here and so is the Wednesday Market!
Cool and showery though it may be the Wednesday Market continues for two more weeks on 8th at Main. We’ll be set up at 3pm until 7pm for you to shop for fresh fall veggies, fruit , succulent pork, hummus, preserves, breads and pastries, fresh flowers, local wines, soy candles….and this week we’ll have plenty of eggs !
The POP club kids can receive their $2 to shop for fresh fruit and veggies (only) and the Master Food Preservers will be there to answer any questions. We take debit and Oregon Trail cards, just purchase your market tokens at the Info. Booth…and while you’re there show us your purchases and get a free raffle ticket to win $100 in Market tokens ! The drawing will be at the end of the Market next week, when we close the Wednesday Market till next year.
However the main Saturday Market continues through October 29th at the County site, 2051, Kaen Rd with approx. 45 vendors each market day (9am-2pm). Starting November 5th we’ll be back in downtown OC for the start of the Winter Market (Nov-April) every other Saturday, 10am-2pm. This Market will have approx. 30 vendors with a good selection of local produce, meats, fish, eggs, wines, breads, pastries, preserves, cheeses….even trees and wreaths before Christmas, and always live music and good hot soup with local breads and crepes!
Park easily at the Wednesday Market…come at 5pm and park for free in Busch’s Parking lot….or ride the free municipal elevator down from the bluff and have a panoramic view of downtown, the river and the falls! See ya:)
