New vendor! Farm D’ICI ‘s gorgeous produce is grown Organically in Canby.

More asparagus this week, plus delicious salad mixes, radishes, turnips, arugula etc. Make a creamy lemon garlic dressing, keep it in the fridge and use over quick salads, fish or chicken! https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/228932/creamy-lemon-dressing/ Berries will soon be here, with the heat they are ripening nicely, stay tuned for their arrival.  RJ Farms would have had some this Saturday (hoophouse-grown) but due to a bad accident a few weeks back Stacey is unable to pick at present. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Like pancakes? Come have a taste of brunch with Mic’s Mix this Mother’s Day weekend! They will be serving up delicious pancakes made with their three unique & delicious gluten-free, whole grain flour blends. You will have the chance to see how the pancakes are made, taste them and then vote on your favorite. Each vote will enter you into a raffle to win your favorite flour blend! You will also have the chance to sample the pancakes will jams, syrup, fruits & honey from vendors here at the market.

Special cookies for Mom from the Small Baking Co.

Treat Mom to a bag of freshly-made scones and a jar of Lemon Curd from Diana’s Delights. New vendor Small Baking Co. will have savory and sweet treats including special ‘Mom’ cookies! Joanna uses only locally-milled organic flour & other whole grains, plus local eggs, butter and fruits too. If chocolate is what Mom loves Sacred Summit has you covered with ‘bean to bar’ chocolate and heavenly truffles (try the mocha one!) . Dario’s kombucha is not to be missed either or his GF cookies. Out this week (only) is Landia (skin care).

Forest Edge’s Rose has just a little sweetness and complexity…just like all Moms!

Forest Edge Winery will be offering samples of their sparkling Rose, plus Kings Raven Winery and 503 Distilling (cocktails in a can) are back, so is 2 Towns Cider Company.

 

Flowers , hanging baskets and plants, soaps and lotions, bird and bee houses, garden art are all plentiful this week. Knife-Sharpening is back, so are the Master Gardeners. Chair Massage will be available from a new vendor, Massage Comfort.

Get ready for some new hot food ‘eats’ on Saturday! Back is BAMA BBQ and new is Yes Please with ‘ready to go Indian eats’! Sara will still be serving up her exceptional tamales as usual. Next week is Altengartz, a food truck well known in PDX with handcrafted nitrite-free sausage, burgers, German potato salad and more goodies.

It will be a fun day. The kids can pot up a plant for Mom, thanks to Serres Nursery and Clackamas Community College’s Hort Dept. and Jesse Rae is entertaining us (10am-1.30pm.) She always puts on a good show! Don’t forget your bags:)  Join us for the annual Bee Aware Pollinator Fair next Saturday!
