August Abundance Awaits

By 20 August 2026

Shop the market every Saturday from 9am-1pm!

August is the month when our farmers deliver the kind of produce that makes you rethink dinner entirely. Expect bursting peaches, crisp cucumbers, fragrant basil, and tomatoes in every shape and color. Pair them with fresh breads, local cheeses, and small-batch sauces for effortless meals that taste like sunshine.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect week to try a new recipe or build a market-inspired picnic, this is it. Summer’s still shining at the market! Fresh corn, juicy tomatoes, cold drinks, 70 vendors, and all your favorites are here this Saturday. Come shop local, support your community, and enjoy the best of August.

We have a few vendor updates for you:

  • Under the Pines Gluten Free Bakery is back this week so stock up on their take and bake pizzas and baked items.
  • Scratch Meats is on hiatus due to staffing issues.
  • Foglia Pasta has confirmed they will be back on Saturday with all the pasta and meatballs customers have been craving.
  • Jose Lucas (our Hermiston watermelon vendor) will be off this Saturday BUT plans to return on Aug 29th.

Find us every Saturday from 9am-1pm on the campus of Clackamas Community College here in Oregon City. We operate in GREEN LOT 1

See you at the market!

Families can still use their Oregon Summer EBT funds until the end of September so if you haven’t come out to the market yet, now is the time. Take advantage of our 20.00 Double Up Food Bucks program to stretch the grocery budget for additional fresh fruits and veggies.

Not sure if you qualify for summer EBT?

The Summer EBT call center (833-673-7328) is open weekdays 8am–5pm through September 25.

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: LUMINAIRE MUSHROOM COMPANY

If you’ve ever wondered what “farm-to-cup” looks like in the world of functional mushrooms, Luminaire Mushroom Company is the vendor to visit. This locally based grower brings an incredible blend of science, sustainability, and small-batch craft to every product they make and has quickly become a favorite stop for shoppers looking to boost focus, energy, and overall wellness.Luminaire specializes in growing Lion’s Mane mushrooms, cultivated with care and precision right on their farm. Their mushrooms are harvested at peak potency, then thoughtfully infused into everyday staples like ground coffee and tea, creating an easy, delicious way to incorporate functional mushrooms into your routine. The result is a smooth, balanced cup with a gentle cognitive lift.

Beyond their infused beverages, Luminaire offers a rotating selection of fresh mushrooms and mushroom-based products that highlight the versatility of these powerhouse fungi. Tierney is always happy to talk about growing methods, recipe ideas, and the science behind functional mushrooms, making their booth a welcoming stop for curious beginners and longtime mushroom lovers alike.

What’s Happening at POP this Week!
The Power of Produce (POP) Club is bringing out the button maker! Kids will get the chance to design their own image to be made into a custom pinback button. Perfect for decorating backpacks and jackets as we head towards back-to-school season. This is a kiddo favorite so be sure to come early and get a button made while supplies last.
