To our market community,
Under the Governor’s latest mandate, starting on 8/27, the Oregon Health Authority will require masks for all individuals over the age of 5 – regardless of vaccination status – in outdoor settings where physical distancing can’t be consistently maintained.
While we realize this may inconvenience many, we are committed to doing our part in protecting community health and appreciate your support and cooperation. If you forget your mask, feel free to stop by the info booth and we will gladly give you one. Thank you for supporting our local farms and artisans!
Now for the good news!
It’s the season of abundance and creativity is flowing with all the wonderful meals one can create from a trip to the market. The variety of veggies and fruits currently available are too lengthy to list. Suffice to say, you can have your pick of the rainbow!
Kiyokawa Family Orchards will be joining us weekly for the duration of the season. Look for new crops of pears and apples, plus peaches, plums and nectarines!
Pam’s Pickled Products last market of the year will be September 4th so now is the time to stock up on their delicious pickled veggies. Pam and Paul pride themselves on using fresh produce grown from our local farms and you can taste the difference! If you haven’t tried their pickled onions, we highly recommend!
This week you can enjoy live music from Two Bit Brothers, warm donuts and a market full local farms, artisans, growers and makers.
Find us at 2051 Kaen Rd (corner of Kaen and Beavercreek Roads) this Saturday from 9-2!
See you at the market! |
