See you at the market!

Help Us Learn More About You!

This Saturday, we’re hosting a quick 5‑question dot survey at the market to learn more about our shoppers such as demographics, shopping habits, frequency of attendance, and what inspires you to support farmers markets. Your feedback helps us understand community trends and strengthens our ability to serve you, apply for grants, and plan future programs.

As a thank you, everyone who participates will be entered into a raffle to win $20 in market spending tokens, plus one of our insulated shopping totes.

A friendly reminder: Oregon City Farmers Market is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and your involvement directly supports our mission to make fresh, local food accessible to everyone.

Stop by the survey booth, place your dots, and help shape the future of your market. We appreciate your voice and your time.

It’s BLT Season!

Campfire Farms is built on hard work, heart, and a team that shows up every single day with dedication and care. This week they’re farm’s newsletter celebrates the incredible staff who make it all possible, from early‑morning chores to thoughtful animal care to the behind‑the‑scenes work that keeps the farm thriving.

Their crew is the backbone of Campfire Farms’ mission: to grow sustainably, ethically, and in a way that honors both the land and the animals. With every season, they continue to expand in ways that feel responsible and rooted in their values by never rushing growth, always prioritizing soil quality, stewardship, and community.

Campfire Farms is grateful for the people who help carry that mission forward, and we’re grateful to have them as part of our market family.

“We couldn’t do it without all of these people, and because we’ve had such a steady crew for years now, we’ve been able to streamline our hog systems without compromising animal care. We have finally arrived at the point where we can offer consistent inventory all year long.

As a thank you for sticking with us through a few years of irregular inventory, we’re happy to offer you, our most dedicated customers, a special sale on our uber popular BACON! Quantities are limited and as usual, our email list gets first dibs.”

As a reminder, Campfire Farm’s guiding principles are:

  • pasture raised, heritage breed pork (Berkshire crosses), chicken (Freedom Ranger), and duck (Pekin)
  • third party Animal Welfare Approved pork – AWA is the “gold standard” of animal care certifications
  • carbon neutrality since 2018 due to added soil organic matter, tree and hedgerow planting, solar power, and reduced inputs
  • no-corn, no-soy feeds formulated for each species, milled 5 miles from the farm at a historic mill that has been operating since 1878

Construction Update:

It’s starting to feel like our unofficial market mascot should be an orange construction cone with all the work happening around our market’s perimeter. We’ve been told that a new operational ADA ramp should be completed within the next two weeks. Gravel is still being laid for the new walking paths around the lot, with concrete to follow, and we’re looking forward to reopening customer parking spaces as soon as it’s safe.

As always, we’re so appreciative of your patience. We know the road gets a bit congested as folks navigate around the construction zone.

Thank you for sticking with us and continuing to support our vendors

Here’s What’s Going on at the POP Club on Saturday!
POP Club is bringing a burst of creativity to the market this Saturday with a hands‑on veggie‑making banner activity. Kids will use colorful cut‑outs, markers, and plenty of imagination to build a giant collaborative banner filled with their favorite fruits and vegetables. Imagine rainbow carrots, happy tomatoes, and all the produce they love. Families are invited to stop by, get creative, and add their artistic flair. We can’t wait to see what our POP Club kids dream up next!
