To our market community,

As the leaves turn and the harvest rolls in, we’re reminded of the deep resilience and generosity that define our local food system. Every Saturday, our market becomes more than a place to shop—it’s a celebration of connection, creativity, and care.

🌱 Why Shopping Local Matters
When you buy from local growers, you’re investing in more than fresh produce—you’re supporting family farms, preserving Oregon’s agriculture, and strengthening our regional economy. Every dollar spent at the market goes back to the grower and circulates through our community, keeping food dollars close to home.

💪 Building Economic Resilience
Local markets are economic lifelines. They offer small-scale farmers and makers a direct path to customers, reducing barriers and boosting sustainability. By choosing local, you’re helping build a food system that’s adaptive, transparent, and rooted in trust.

Shop With Purpose This Season
Whether its crisp apples, pasture raised meats, or artisan preserves, your purchases make a difference. Come explore the bounty, meet your growers, and discover the stories behind your food. Every visit supports livelihoods, nourishes families, and keeps our market vibrant.

As we transition to our winter season, thank you for your support and choosing local. Together, we’re cultivating more than food—we’re growing a resilient community.

With gratitude,
The Oregon City Farmers Market Team

Find us this Saturday from 9am-2pm at Clackamas Community College’s GREEN LOT 1 here in Oregon City.

Winter market season kicks off on November 1st! Please note, we open 1 hour later, at 10am, during the fall and winter months.

Don’t forget we’re operating weekly until Dec 20th, with the exception of Thanksgiving weekend. We’re excited to offer continuity to our market customers. Make sure you pick up a market schedule bookmark at our Information Booth this Saturday.

We know there is a lot of confusion and uncertainty regarding the funding of SNAP benefits in November if the government shutdown continues.

As of now, funds will not be disbursed until Congress passes and the President signs funding legislation. In the interim our friends over at Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon have shared some tips so that SNAP recipients can stay informed and aware of any potential changes.

For now:

Oregonians should continue applying for benefits and can continue using any existing food benefits at the market and retailers. Double Up Food Bucks are available with your SNAP purchases at the market. Use your 2025 Double Up Food Bucks by the end of the year since they expire on 12/31/25 before new currency is issued for 2026.

October benefits for nutrition programs – including SNAP and WIC – are not impacted.

WIC remains open.

Public school students may still access meals at school.
