Crisp air and fresh fare!

This Saturday’s forecast is looking beautiful. The leaves at our market lot are starting to turn and the air is festive with seasonal produce and farm direct groceries perfectly suited for the changing weather. Martson Farm and Campfire Farms will be in attendance with locally raised beef and pork perfect for a Sunday slow roast to start your week. It’s time to savor this fleeting season with comforting foods.

Fall produce is making quite an appearance at the market! Apples, pears, and squash varieties such as early Butternut and Delicata offer the reminder that cozy weather is coming.

This Saturday please stop by our Information Booth. We have our winter bookmarks ready! These are a handy resource that contains our market dates, events and ways to keep in touch with the market. Don’t forget we’ve added extra markets in November and December.

We have some returning vendors you haven’t seen in a while so please welcome back:
503 Distilling
Goat Goddess Soap
Drop Shop Distillery
Rare Earth Wood Turning
Trail Distilling
Smokin Swine BBQ Sauce

Also, Landia Skincare is back again this week. They will be in a new booth space for this week only – right next to Fokattia Artisanal Bread. It’s a great time to stock up on essential skincare products.

This week at the market our POP kids will have the opportunity to taste test a variety of (mild) peppers and vote for their favorite. This is a fun way to encourage kiddos to try new varieties of veggies!

Speaking of peppers, over at our Field to Fork Market Learning Kitchen we’re sampling out a peak season pepper, Shishitos. We’re kicking it up by grilling the Shishitos onsite and serving them alongside a zippy lemon tahini dipping sauce. We will provide the recipe along with the sample so we hope you will stop by and give it a try.

You can find us each Saturday at Clackamas Community College’s GREEN LOT 1 here in Oregon City from 9am-2pm.

See you at the market!
