Support our local producers by shopping the market on Saturday!

It’s a lovely time of year to procure locally grown and made foods. Many assume fresh produce is lacking during the winter. In reality it’s a bountiful season filled with nutrient dense foods.

Our customers know what it means to stock up! The beauty of shopping locally is the fact your produce is harvested the day right before the market. With healthy growing practices and a short travel distance to market, veggies simply last longer and are more nutritious.

These are the days of slow roasting, braising, baking, simmering and sautéing. Comfort meals are key to nourishing our bodies during these dark days of winter. Amplify flavors by trying new spice blends and herbed salts from vendors such as Spice PilgrimFarrah Farms and Storybook Farm.
Their made from scratch fresh seasoning mixes are a million times more flavorful than grocery store counterparts.
Pair your meals with hot mulled cider from Viola Orchards or Trail Distilling’s latest Irish Cream and thick slices of hearty sourdough bread from Fokattia. Don’t wait for holidays to enjoy what’s in front of you now.

Thanks to Maggy’s Farm, loads of fresh greenery awaits! Maggy’s will have festive swags, wreaths, arrangements and holiday cheer to brighten your winter decorating or to share with others.

Are you planning on gift giving? Shop from our talented artisans this week. You will find beautiful ceramics, knit wear, candles, jewelry and bath products, all made individually and by hand using locally sourced and upcycled materials.

Don’t forget to chat with our vendors about pre-orders for the holidays, especially Martson Farm for their Prime Rib and our wonderful bakers. Our Holiday Market is scheduled for Dec 21st!

SNAP Recipients: Don’t forget! Double Up Food Bucks Coupons will expire on Dec 31st so make sure to use them up before 2025 begins.

Find us this Saturday, Dec 7th from 10am-2pm at Clackamas Community College’s GREEN LOT 1 here in Oregon City.

See you at the market!
