Winter Market this Saturday!

By 1 February 2018

It’s not been a bad winter …yet! Hard to believe we are almost half way through the season. Do you know anyone who has never been to the Market?  If so help us spread the word to them. We get customers coming up to the Information Booth every market day telling us they had never been before had no idea there was so much to choose from! With the new sign code now enforced in the City we cannot hang the number of banners (including the one at the site) that we used to and they were a great way to remind folks about us. So we rely on word of mouth, which is still the best way, and social media. If you are on Facebook, like and follow our page ‘Oregon City Year-Round Farmers Market’ for the most up-to-date information. We are on Instagram too…fyi. You can search for our farmers and vendors Facebook pages as well, most have them and they often post what they harvesting, selling and bringing to market. Yup, social media does have it’s advantages!

Beautiful Escarole from Sun Love Farm.

Diana’s Delights and Campfire Farms are out this week also Culture Aromatics, all back next market, but  RJ Farms is back and we’ll have fresh produce from them (and eggs) plus from Sun Love and Brown Bottle Farm too. Shy Ann Meats is back now for the year, with Phil’s wonderful bacon and smoked pork Chops and sausages.  35 vendors this Saturday plus hot food by Sara’s Tamales  and Cafe de Crepe. Mark Seymour is playing from 10.30-2pm and the POP Club kids are searching for BOB again. Little Bobs (cut-outs of Bob of Bob’s Red Mill, a POP Club sponsor) will be hiding in the Market in plain sight.  Find 8 BOBs and they can enter to win a bag of his pancake mix!

Local Honey, pollen and beeswax from TBEES Honey

We are still looking for donations so we can continue to run our two programs this year, the Kid’s Power Of Produce (POP) Club, which introduces children to fresh produce and the SNAP Match fund which helps those less fortunate to eat healthy food. We can accept donations at the Information Booth (Check, cash or credit) or you mail them to OCFM, PO Box 2931, OC 97045…or click here: https://orcityfarmersmarket.com/support-your-market/

Delicious Chocolate and Kombucha from Sacred Summit

There are more vendors joining us each market day now and a lot is being planned for the summer season. Make sure you are plugged into our social media to get all the news! Thanks for your support:)
