Rain or shine…the farmers harvest!

Supporting your farmers market may mean showing up in rain gear now and again…and it looks like this Saturday will be one of those days! Nevertheless farmers harvest rain or shine and will be bringing their produce no matter what. Your support on bad weather days is more important than ever. Small farmers work with tight profit margins, their market sales are everything.

Should the market need to close early, open later or (shock horror!) close due to weather during the coming winter season ….you’ll know right away. If you are not on Facebook then keep this number: 503 734-0192 and call (don’t text) the manager if you have questions. We try really hard not to close, knowing the effect of a closure on our vendors and customers, and our wonderful hardy bunch of volunteers show up no matter what!

Saturday October 28th is our “Halloween Market”…..you can vote for your favorite vendors costume and Trick or Treat with the kids. The following Saturday, November 4th, we open for the Winter Season at 10am …one hour later than the summer market season. This year we have an exciting mix of vendors, with most of your favorites signed up! So you don’t forget which weekend the market is pick up a winter schedule at the Information Booth.
