Hi, I am with a group of non-profit volunteer local motorcycle clubs that are commited to a Youth safety evalution program. I am currently looking at the overflow parking area by the farmers market to conduct these riding evalutions to meet new 2012 law for kids 7 to 15 to ride on public lands. Approx. 10 to 30 kids, 9am-noon, 7 times a year. Would love to have the public aware of such programs.

Savory et Sweet Crepes will be using the following mkt. products on the menu this Sat.:
Hansen Family sausage with Rick Steffen kale; Gram’s caramel sauce with Kiyokawa red heirloom apples; Gran Mary’s mulling spices in hot cranberry juice. La Provence sour dough bread for Hot & Sour Soup. LOVE the Winter Mkt! See you then…..

Wow! I’m so excited. I missed the one two weeks ago, I better stock up! Definitely getting some sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts and green beans for our Thanksgiving feast! And some squash…such a convenient food to have on hand.

Just moved here one week ago from Las Vegas. Went to the Farmers Market this morning with my 10 year old twins. We loved it! We shopped for veggies, plants, and even signed up for a yoga class! Lovin it here in Oregon!!!

Oregon City has had several street events the past few months. Though they do not fall on a Wednesday, I think a farmer’s market on those street events days in town would spread the word, help the farmers, and bring in more revenue for the city. The city can have both their Sat. market and one in town as well on those special days.

Kids ages 5-12 is what the program is designed for. Sadly we don’t have enough money to have it available for all ages and had to narrow it down. Hopefully we will have it again next year and then your eldest will be eligible!
