Kings Raven Pinot Gris...a lovely sip on a warm day!

Kings Raven Pinot Gris…a lovely sip on a warm day!

As well as the local Breweries we have Kings Raven Winery, where the grapes are grown less than 5 miles away. One of their more popular wines is the 2013 Pinot Gris ($10/bottle) that has more color and flavor than a traditional Pinot Gris. This gorgeous colored wine was processed in an alternate European style leaving the skins on the grapes during the first 10 days of fermentation, then pressing and completing fermentation.  This allowed the juice to extract some of the color and flavors from the skins. Ask for a taste of this and other local wines!

Clackamas County Commissioner Martha Schrader will be at the Market from 10am-11am and wants to hear directly from the residents of Oregon City and the County about all issues of concern. This is your chance for face-to-face time to weigh in on the best paths to move your County and City forward. Something you may not know about Martha is that she was instrumental in helping the Oregon City Farmers Market get started back in 2005, and is always engaged about farming issues in our County!
