Join us this Saturday August 18th, on the parking lot of Clackamas County’s Public Services Building, 2051, Kaen Rd. , with plenty of close parking! Open at 9am…close at 2pm. We’re at this location through October…then we switch to the Downtown OC location, on 8th St at Main, and run every other week through April next year, 10am-2pm. Yes right through the winter!
Join us too on summer Wednesdays on 8th St, 3pm-7pm through September. This small but mighty (!) mid-week Market now has hot food …by Mitizil Restaurant…plus cold drinks, fresh fruit smoothies, wine by the glass and live music!
High season now for summer produce…stock up, freeze, dry, pickle, can…pick up your free Ball Canning Guide at the Market’s Info. Booth. Buy a BOX of produce and preserve for the coming fall and winter. With food prices predicted to increase later this year (due to the drought in the mid-west) you can pad your budget by putting food away now…in it’s peak . Peaches, nectarines, plums, , cherries (just about still in), berries, melons, peppers, corn, tomatoes, cukes, broccoli, eggplant, squash, beans , beets, basil, onions, shallots, plus lettuce, potatoes, even the first Early Gold apples are now “in”…all the local bounty this area has to offer.
Local meats and wild fish, goats cheese, wines, kombucha, hummus, teas, locally baked bread and pastries, including gluten-free (!), jams, preserves, pickles, honey (Mickleberry Gardens are back this week…honey and honey remedies!) Cheese, vinegar, and bread-making kits as Curds On The Way are back too!, fresh flowers, plants, turned-wood products, Adirondak chairs and garden crafts.
Delicious crepes, great tamales, coffee, fresh fruit smoothies….all this plus live music from 10-1pm, we even have the Master Gardeners with advice too. Come and enjoy a cooler morning at the Market!
